About

VaultPin Play started as a group chat where a few friends kept dumping links to weird little mobile games nobody else was talking about. At some point we figured the notes we were writing to each other might actually be useful to other people, so we turned them into a proper site.

We're small on purpose. There's no big office and no marketing quota to hit. We play games on our own phones, during commutes and late evenings, and we write about what actually stuck with us and what fell apart after twenty minutes.

Choosing what to cover is simple: it has to be interesting. That can mean a clever control scheme, an art style we can't stop looking at, or just a game loop that's oddly hard to put down. We skip the obvious blockbusters unless there's a real story to tell about them.

Everything you read here comes from hands-on time. If we haven't finished enough of a game to have a real opinion, we don't publish. That's the whole rule.
