Cozy games that don't punish you for logging off
A lot of casual games are secretly stressful. They pile on daily streaks, timers, and pop-ups that make a quiet hobby feel like a second job. The cozy games we actually keep are the ones that let you leave.
Tiny Terrace Farm is our current favorite in this camp. There's no harsh energy limit forcing you to stop, so you play until you're done and log off without a countdown nagging at you. That single design decision changes the whole mood.
The same idea shows up in collection-style games. Big Bass 3in1, for instance, is happiest in short bursts and never guilts you for stepping away. You come back, cast a few times, and that's completely fine.
When we recommend a cozy game, the first thing we look at is what happens when you close the app for three days. If the answer is 'nothing bad,' it's usually a keeper.
