Strategy
Tidewatch Command
★★★★☆ 4.3
Tidewatch Command puts you in charge of scattered island outposts, and the whole game is about reading the map. Enemies arrive by sea in patterns you learn over time, and success comes from placing towers and rerouting supply lines rather than just walling everything off.
Each mission is short enough for a break but layered enough to replay. There's a light economy to manage, and the difficulty curve is fair — losses usually feel like your fault, which is exactly what you want in a strategy game.
Touch controls are precise, with a smart long-press menu that keeps the screen uncluttered. It's a thinker, and a good one.
